In theory losing weight should be once of the most simple things that we can do. We all know that we just need to eat less calories than we need in a day and that the pounds will start to drop off.

But knowing how to lose calories fast is an art form. Some people can eat certain calories and lose weight, others can eat the same sorts of calories and put on weight.

What’s more when we try losing calories we almost always end up tired, grumpy and starving! How can we tell what calories are the best for us and which ones will help us to lose weight?

1 – Use Substitutes

How to lose calories fast? You do not need to stop eating all your favorite food and flavors, but you do need to learn how to substitute them for healthy options. Here is an example – if you feel the need for something sugary, sweet and creamy what is the first thing that comes to mind? I bet you could really go for a tub of chocolate ice-cream right?

Also when you have one large meal and have to wait a while before your next one you feel hungrier faster. We find ourselves having to resist all sorts of temptation and ultimately we end up binging on high calorie foods. Part of learning how to lose calories fast is how to control our hunger.

Cool eh? Once you start to lose calories through not eating as many of them, your body beings to work more efficiently, meaning that every little task that you do during the day will count more. If you want to work out at the gym or doing some other specialized training that will speed up the process, but for those who do not have time it is good to know that even small tasks like hanging washing, gardening, hoovering, running errands will make a difference.
